For one week only, Curry Leaf Cafe and Deliveroo are teaming up to host an experimental popup event in which our award-winning food is available for home delivery. Scheduled to run from Monday 7th to Sunday 13th November, this popup collaboration will offer a range of nibbles, starters and curries from the Ship Street Cafe's dinner menu – delivered to your door at the press of a button!

We're now taking Christmas party bookings at our Ship Street cafe. For the ultimate festive feasting experience, check out our authentic South Indian two- or three-course menu, paired with the city's finest lineup of international craft beers, a range of affordable wines and a spiced cocktail menu designed for us by the award-winning Cocktail Shack.

Our final month at Temple Bar

Big news, folks… the 9th November will be our last day serving from The Temple Bar on Western Road. We've had a brilliant time working in the pub's stylish surroundings alongside the Temple Bar's friendly team of beer-lovering bartenders – but after 18 months the lure of a new project just proved too strong to resist. 
    We can't tell you much about our plans at the moment, but can confirm that it involves a brand-new premises in another part of Brighton. Expect big things from Curry Leaf Cafe in December.
    In the meantime, get yourselves down to 121 Western Road for our unique take on Indian pub grub and Temple's ever-changing lineup of craft beers and cocktails. We intend to make the most of our final month's kitchen residency, and would love it if you could help see us off in style :)

Online Ordering App Launched

It's now even easier to get your hands on our authentic Indian street food, curries, wraps & craft beers thanks to the launch of a brand-new online ordering app for our Brighton Station kiosk. Simply visit curryleafcafe.wi-q.com, choose your food, pick a collection time and pay securely online with your credit card. Then roll up at the kiosk at the allotted time and our server will be ready with your piping hot takeaway and ice-cold craft beers. Fast food… Curry Leaf Cafe style.

Craft beer now available to take away

You can now choose a brilliant craft beer to accompany your wrap, curry, sandwich or street food takeaway from our Brighton station kiosk. The menu has been carefully chosen to complement the flavours of our food, and is available from 12noon until close every day. (Please note that due to licensing laws, all beer orders must contain a minimum of £1.50 in food). 
The menu includes some of our fave brews from Brighton Bier, Bison Beer, BrewDog, Magic Rock Brewing, 40FT Brewery, Gun Brewery, Beavertown, Fourpure and The Five Points Brewing Company. Beers can also be bought via our new online ordering app at curryleafcafe.wi-q.com. Simply choose your food (& beers of course), select a collection time and pay securely online with your credit card. Your order will be waiting for you, piping hot and ready to go, when you arrive at the kiosk.

POSITIONS AVAILABLE

KIOSK SUPERVISOR, BRIGHTON STATION (FULL-TIME)
Brighton's award-winning Curry Leaf Cafe has opened an Indian street food retail kiosk inside Brighton train station, and is looking for experienced full-time supervisor to help manage its serving team. As supervisor, we expect you to be passionate and knowledgeable about the food & beverage restaurant/cafe industry. You need to have leadership abilities, great communication skills, a friendly demeanour and a cool head that will allow you to think on your feet and keep a smile on your face when problems arise and the kiosk becomes busy. 

We also expect you to have:
– At least 1 year’s experience in a supervisory position
– Experience working in a high-volume takeaway outlet
– Experience of cash-up, stock takes and day-to-day operations
– Barista experience, i.e. making and serving espresso coffee
– Knowledge of Food Hygiene and Health & Safety
– A passion for great food and customer service
– A keen eye for detail and an ability to follow and implement working procedures

NB: A full clean driver’s licence is preferred, but not a requirement

We expect you to: 
– Have experience working in a high-volume takeaway outlet
– Be willing to work flexible hours, including 6am shifts
– Have a passion for great food and customer service
– Be a punctual, reliable person

NB: Barista experience (making and serving espresso coffee) is a bonus, but not a requirement as training can be provided

In May 2015 the award-winning Curry Leaf Cafe opened a kitchen inside the newly revamped Temple Bar pub on Western Road, and is seeking an enthusiastic full-time chef to join its expanding kitchen team. Your primary role at The Temple Bar kitchen will be producing food for the newly opened street food kiosk inside Brighton Station – which will involve early shifts starting at 5am – as well as later shifts cooking for The Temple Bar's diners.

We expect you to: 
• Have minimum of 1 years’ experience working as a chef in a busy kitchen
• Be a reliable, responsible and punctual person
• Be flexible – some shifts will start at 5am, others later in the day
• Be over the age of 19, have a full driver's license and be confident driving in the UK

New spiced cocktail menu launched

On the back of our recent cocktail-and-food pairing triumph with The Cocktail Shack at the Brighton & Hove Food and Drink Festival, we've launched a brand-new spiced cocktail menu at the cafe in collaboration with the award-winning Brighton bar. 
     Created by their head mixologist Max, the menu features four unique cocktails devised specifically to pair with the key flavours of South Indian cuisine. In addition to being an amazing accompaniment to our food, £1 from every cocktail sold will go to local charity FareShare Sussex to help them distribute surplus food to the vulnerable and homeless of Sussex.
